Daydream Records International is my professional home studio that brings the songs of my dreams to the level of the big music industry, making it nearly impossible to believe that this sound is not recorded in the biggest studios on the planet.
The new single "Midnight Symphony" is the latest Daydream Records production. The collaborative original track of JINTHE and Noah-Benedikt is the first song of 2024 releasing right in January.
Over the past couple of years, I've expanded the small home studio continuously by enhancing my skills and the gear surrounding me. With the current set up, I am able to achieve nearly every sound possible with live recordings of acoustic instruments or programmed sounds out of the box.
The studio is split into two different rooms - the live room and the mixing room. While instruments such as drums are recorded in the live room, most other acoustic elements and vocals are being recorded in the mixing room because of it's optimized acoustic.
The current main drumset is a DW Collectors Exotic set "Natural to Black Burst over Royal Ebony". To make sure that it sounds as amazing on records as it sounds in reality, it is picked up by thirteen microphones. To name a few, I am using Earthworks DM20s for snare drums and toms, Neumann KM184s as overheads, a Beta 52 for kick out and a SM57 for kick in.
